Code Of Conduct for Pupil
1.Safety First
- Follow the instructions of teachers and adult supervisors at all times.
- Stay with your assigned group in designated areas; do not wander off alone.
- Cross roads only at designated crossings and never jaywalk.
- Be cautious of traffic and follow pedestrian safety rules, including wearing seatbelts on buses and crossing streets safely.
- Report any safety concerns or emergencies immediately to a teacher or supervisor.
2.Respect for Others
- Treat fellow pupils, teachers, and locals with kindness, respect, and courtesy.
- Follow the cultural norms and customs of school, being mindful of local traditions.
- Use appropriate language and avoid offensive or disrespectful behaviour.
- Be inclusive and considerate towards all group members, regardless of differences.
- Respect the personal space and belongings of others, both within the group and outside.
3.Responsible Behaviour
- Take care of personal belongings and avoid losing or misplacing them.
- Follow the schedule and be punctual for all activities and gatherings.
- Adhere to designated meeting points and assemble promptly when required.
- Consume food and beverages responsibly, following local guidelines and customs.
- Keep the accommodation and surrounding areas clean and tidy, respecting the property.
4.Health and Well-being
- Maintain personal hygiene, including regular handwashing, especially before meals.
- Follow dietary restrictions or guidelines provided by teachers or supervisors.
- Report any illness, discomfort, or allergies promptly to the accompanying adults.
- Seek permission and guidance before trying unfamiliar foods or engaging in risky activities.
- Stay hydrated and carry a water bottle during outdoor activities to avoid dehydration.
5.Communication and Contact
- Stay in designated groups and inform the accompanying adults if leaving temporarily.
- Carry identification cards, emergency contact information, and the address of the accommodation.
- Keep the teachers and supervisors informed about your whereabouts during free time.
- Use appropriate channels of communication, such as designated group chat or pre-arranged phone calls.
- Inform the accompanying adults immediately about any personal concerns or difficulties.
6.Device Usage
- Use of personal devices is strictly limited and should be done only during designated times.
- Devices are not to be used on the bus, during meal times, or dormitory activities unless specifically approved by a group leader.
- Keep devices safe and secure when not in use; the school is not responsible for loss or damage to devices.
- Use devices responsibly and in accordance with the school's guidelines and policies.
- Inappropriate use of devices and the occasion of expectations not being met, may result in devices being confiscated by the group leader
7.Consequences
- Clear and appropriate consequences will be put in place for pupils where their behaviour and actions do not meet expectations.
Remember: The purpose of the trip is to learn, experience new cultures, and foster friendships. By adhering to these rules and expectations, we ensure the safety, well-being, and positive experience for everyone involved.
